Sliding opening as a moving 

architectural feature

The sliding safety door Vela with vertical slats allows designing a door reaching 

up to the ceiling and turning it into a moving architectural feature. Ideal as a 

subdivision door between environments, leading to a reserved area or making

the relations between the rooms more creative, still keeping its safety function.

                 External long handle

                                          The perfect coplanarity of the door is achieved thanks to the 

                                          vertical long handle directly built-in in the door. This design detail 

                                          allows the opening from the outside in an extremely light way.

                              Internal handle

                                           The opening takes place from the inside thanks to the 

                            coplanar handle, patented by Oikos and integrated in the door.
